I haven't used a light box but I researched them. I read that blue spectrum light helped most with depression, particularly in bipolar which I have. I simply bought blue lights and I use one in a lamp at work and one in the room my treadmill is in at home. It might not be as effective but it does seem to have helped. Could be the placebo effect as well but I will take what I can get. Good luck!
I posted about my light box last week. I love it! I also really like my sunrise clock. They really work on SAD, in my experience. I also take 1400iu D3 which helps. Hope you feel better soon!
I am a mid-30s girl who loves Jesus, laughing, and people. When I get to combine the three, that's even better. I'm in the midst of a navigating a career transition. In the meantime, I'm learning to better hear and follow the voice of Jesus. I work to be faithful to the opportunities the Lord puts in front of me, and make disciples in that context -- whatever that context is. For now, that means I make disciples of industrial engineering students at the University of Arkansas. It's so great, and I will miss it next year.
